Brook Fox completely caught my attention with his new EP “Everybody’s In Love” and I honestly loved listening to every second of it. It pulled me in right away because every track has its own character and keeps the momentum going. So by the last second, I was already thinking about playing it again.
Brook Fox mixes indie rock with catchy songwriting in a way that stays with you long after the music stops. The production sounds polished and there’s a great energy running through the whole EP. The guitars and drums give every track plenty of life, while the melodies stick in your head with surprising ease. His lyrics also carry plenty of emotion, whether he’s singing about sharing life with someone special or looking at a world that can seem chaotic while still holding onto hope.
His voice fits these songs perfectly and you can hear the passion in every performance without it becoming too much. That balance made the lyrics even more meaningful to me. I also kept coming back to how memorable both the words and melodies are, which isn’t something every release manages to do.
I enjoyed every second of this new record. It’s one of those EPs where every song adds something worthwhile and the atmosphere has its own identity from beginning to end. Brook Fox grabbed my attention with this release and after spending time with it, I’m already looking forward to hearing whatever he does next.
