Sabina Chantouria is back with “Just Hold My Hand” a simple and easy-to-listen-to pop song that had me enjoying every second right up to the end. There is something lovely about the way she performed this release. She doesn’t need a complicated arrangement or an overly busy sound to make her music enjoyable. Her pure and angelic voice takes the lead which gives the song a warm character that suits it perfectly.
Built around the idea of being there for someone when life gets difficult, the song carries a message about support, strength and growing through challenging times. It’s an honest subject and Sabina handles it with a gentle touch. Her songwriting has always been one of the things I appreciate and here she delivers melodies that are simple but memorable. Her vocal delivery is smooth, with a catchy quality that makes the song easy to enjoy without having to work your way into it.
I loved the soft melodies and the instrumental arrangement. Everything sits comfortably together which allows Sabina’s voice to take its place without the music getting in the way. I really enjoyed her performance and the way she carries the song from beginning to end. If you’re new to Sabina Chantouria, she’s definitely an artist worth following. I have a soft spot for songs like this, where the songwriting, melody and performance are enough to keep me listening. “Just Hold My Hand” was a lovely listen, and I’m happy I spent some time with it.
