Bailey Bomar is back with a new single and if you have not heard “The Search” yet, leave whatever you are doing and give it a listen. On this track, Bomar looks back to a time when she was wondering what life might hold beyond the standard. The song is about leaving home, questioning the path expected of you, and finding the courage to go after something bigger. It is a personal idea, but she gives it a sound that carries so much energy. Her pop-rock style brings together catchy melodies and amazing rock backing.
Her voice is powerful and I love the way she handles the chorus. She sings with confidence and so much emotion which gives the lyrics the weight they need. The songwriting is honest and the lyrics make the search for purpose easy to connect with. I enjoyed the production and quality of this song. Everything sounds polished and professional and the mixing and mastering keep the instruments and vocals working well together. The melodies are captivating but the chorus was the part I wanted to hear again.
I have enjoyed listening to Bailey Bomar before, and this single gives me another good reason to keep following her music. I loved spending time with her vocals, melodies, and lyrics here. She has a powerful voice and a great way of putting personal thoughts into a song. This is a strong new release and I hope she keeps going. She is definitely an artist to watch.
