Christian Fedor is our artist of the week and his new release “Digital Remains” gave me 6 tracks I was happy to hear in one sitting. I have to be honest, this Australian artist knows how to pull you into the music and let you live in its energy instead of hearing it in the background.
His songwriting is a big part of that. The songs have powerful choruses that stick in your head and his vocals carry strength without losing the character of the music. The instrumentation is rich and full of good moments throughout the record. Christian used AI tools to help create the instruments and the result sounds polished and carefully put together. That adds another interesting part to the listening experience.
The opening track, “NO SPINE” is my favourite here. I loved the melodies and lyrics and the chorus stayed in my head after I moved on. There is real drive in his performance and I liked how the words and music meet with force. It is the kind of opener that makes me want to keep listening.
I appreciate songwriters who put this much care into their writing and bring their work into the music world instead of keeping it in the background. Fedor has ideas to share and this album gave me a good reason to pay attention. He is also a painter, which makes me curious about his other creative work. I enjoyed this record a lot and I am sure this artist has so many surprises ahead, and I mean that.
