Music by Jeremy just landed on my radar with his new EP “Scenes from a Well Worn Path – Side Two”. It’s a six track EP and an amazing listen from start to end. It starts with “Do Birds Sing the News” a soft and touching song where the emotional vocals sit well beside the acoustic instrumentation. The melodies are gentle and the production gives each part room to shine without making the arrangement feel overdone or crowded.
“So Cold” is honest and direct. There is real weight in the writing and Jeremy delivers it with so much emotion. I loved every second of this one. The performance carries the song very well which makes its honesty easy to connect with.
“Moving On” brings another strong moment, with powerful vocals, good lyrics and production that keeps everything clear. I really loved this track too. The songwriting holds my attention and the original instrumental parts give the songs their unique character.
Jeremy writes and produces the music himself, using AI tools to help build out the performances. That approach is part of the project, but what matters to me is how well the pieces fit together. The mixing is excellent, the production is carefully handled and the instruments sound well crafted alongside the vocals.
I really enjoyed all six tracks on this release. It’s a lovely listen and I appreciated the writing and sharp arrangements. This EP works because the songs have something to say and the music gives them space to say it. I’ll definitely spend more time with this record in the next few weeks.
