Pocket Lint is back with a new single titled “Nyx?”. It’s a perfect soundtrack for this quiet evening. I ended up replaying it over and over, then going through more of his music because I wanted to spend more time with that voice. Pocket Lint is already one of my favorite indie artists, so you probably know I’m always happy to hear what he does next.
His voice has a distinct tone that is easy to fall in love with, and his writing gives you something to pay attention to without making the song hard work. He puts care and passion into each part and that attention is what makes me love his sound. The melodies caught me right away and the chorus is one of those parts I kept waiting to hear again.
The instrumentation is rich and supports the vocals perfectly. The synth work sits nicely with the other instruments which give the track its electronic side while leaving room for the vocals. It has a steady mood that suited my evening perfectly. Tbh, Pocket Lint is a talented artist and I honestly think he is one to watch. If you’re new to his music, now is a great time to start following the journey. I have a feeling there is a lot more good music ahead.
