Good morning! I’m super excited to share “Field Of One”, the new album from Alan Mair. He is an amazing and talented artist I just discovered this week. His songwriting and musicianship make this a great listen. The album gives us 12 songs shaped by choices, regrets, and turning points that can stay with us for years.
Alan’s voice was one of the first things I connected with here. It has a rich tone and his vocal presence is impressive. His delivery has strength and I loved how well it sits with the melodies. The songwriting shows real care and the instrumentation gives every track a solid foundation.
“How Could I Let This Happen” carries the album’s personal side very well. It asks that question about the moment you wish you could change, whether it was a lost relationship, a missed chance or a decision that changed everything. That idea gives the song something easy to connect with. It’s my favorite title here!
The production and mixing are excellent. which keeping the music clear and gives Alan’s vocals so much room to lead. He wrote, produced, and played everything which is impressive. Zal Cleminson handles the lead guitar and Paul Rabigar adds keyboards on some tracks. “Field Of One” is an album made with passion and care. Alan Mair is a talented artist and I loved spending time with this record. It’s a great experience from start to end.
