I liked how the song gets into the subject of infidelity and the mess that betrayal can leave behind, especially when there is a young family involved. It is not an easy subject, but the artist handles it very well.
His vocal delivery is smooth and the lyrics are honest. There is so much emotion in his raw vocals, but he does not need to push them too hard. I also liked the simple instrumental around him. It gives the song room to breathe and the production quality is excellent. The chorus was probably my favorite part. It stays with you and the atmosphere keeps the song in a darker place that suits the story. 50mething has a way of making me listen to whatever he chooses to sing about, and that is something I appreciate.
