What an amazing album to start a new week and a new Monday morning with. I had just discovered New Nobility, so I had no idea what to expect from “New Day Tomorrow”, but I ended up loving this 10 track record all the way to the last second.
There is a sincerity in the songwriting that pulled me in from the opening track which is also the title track. The songs carry so much emotion, but the melodies are what kept me coming back to them. I really enjoyed the production and mixing. You can notice how everything sits together well and the instrumentation gives each song enough room to breathe without taking attention away from the vocals.
I loved listening to the whole album, though one track kept finding its way back into my headphones. “Wouldn’t It Be Good if We Could Live in Peace”. There is so much emotion in this one and the vocal performance gives the lyrics extra weight. The songwriting also has a clear message about wanting people to live in peace, which fits the band’s socially conscious side.
This amazing band brings together rock and pop influences with a sound that carries a lot of passion. I can hear how much care went into the music, especially in the melodies and overall atmosphere. I honestly loved the deep and honest songwriting here. Finding a new band I connect with this quickly is always a great feeling, and this is an album I’m glad I spent time with for sure.
