I just found a band making some really good rock music and if you’re a fan of that raw sound, you’ve come to the right place. Loser Demon’s new release “EP3” is a 6 track release that caught my attention because it’s full and doesn’t try to smooth away the rough edges. There’s so much happening here, but the songs still have room to breathe.
The music is rich with guitars and great drums, backed by strong vocals, memorable melodies and lyrics that give each track its unique character. The songs move between tighter melodic moments and louder bursts without losing their direction. You can hear a lot of energy behind these songs, and that gives the whole EP a lively atmosphere.
Loser Demon have a rough-edged rock style, but there is also enough melody to keep things moving. Their performance sounds confident and you can tell these guys know how to play together. This EP shows the band’s skills and raw energy, while also sounding like the work of a professional band that has spent time developing its sound.
I liked the music here more with every track. It has that loose, guitar-driven energy I want from a rock record, but the songwriting keeps it from becoming just noise. I loved every second of it, and for me, it’s a great release from a band that really knows what it wants to do. I’ll be keeping an ear on Loser Demon from here. That balance kept me interested throughout “EP3”. I’ll listen to them again.
