I’ve been listening to Romeo Saints’ new single “Juju Vibes” for the last few hours, and I’ve enjoyed the sound and quality more each time it comes around. The production work is polished and the sound design is impressive and I really liked the way the beats are put together. Everything has room to breathe and the rhythm keeps the track moving.
Romeo Saints has a style that sits comfortably between progressive and electro house, but there is also a darker side to the track that gives it some character. The simple atmosphere works well here. It lets the beat do its job without covering it with too many layers. I also liked the vocal production here. They add another part to the track and help keep the energy going without taking over the whole thing.
There is a bigger idea behind this release. The song touches on queer liberation, resilience, and finding freedom after difficult times. I think that message fits the music because the track keeps pushing forward. You can tell this was made with care. It has the kind of energy that works when you want something to keep you moving, but I also enjoyed just listening closely to the production. It’s is a good listen and I’m hoping Romeo Saints has more music coming anytime soon. I’ll definitely be keeping an ear out for sure.
