This track came from an amazing collaboration and I’m happy to write about it. The Ocean Beneath and err: Rawr have joined forces on “44” and I liked this one. There is a lot to enjoy here, but what stayed with me was how well the two producers work together.
The Ocean Beneath brings his progressive electronic style into the track, while err: Rawr adds another layer to the production. The synth work caught my attention and the beats give the song a steady drive. I also liked the electronic elements. They were placed with care and not just filling space. The production is polished and the mixing is just as strong. Everything has its place, which made it easy for me to listen without getting distracted. I could hear the care behind the making of this track, especially in the sound design.
It is the kind of track I can see myself keeping on constant repeat for a while. The collaboration feels like a good match and both talented producers bring something unique and fresh. I liked this work a lot and I’m happy I got the chance to cover it. Hopefully this is not the last time I get to write about The Ocean Beneath, because I’d be glad to hear and cover more of his music in the future.
