EGGER is only four singles into his career, and that makes “Get Up” a good introduction. I had never heard his music before, but honestly, that is not a bad thing here. It means you have the chance to discover an artist while he is still building his path and this track gives a good reason to follow where he goes next.
The track has that electronic sound that can easily become too busy, but EGGER keeps things under control. The production caught my attention, especially the sound design. There is a lot happening in the track but the elements sit together without fighting for space. The mix is balanced and the quality is impressive. I really loved the energy of this track. The vocal hook stays in your head without needing a huge vocal performance around it. The repeated get up idea gives the song its push while the synth-driven arrangement keeps moving.
This is where I think EGGER shows his skill. You can hear the care in the production, even if he is working with minimal equipment rather than some huge studio setup. I loved every second of it. More than anything, I loved the passion behind the music and the respect he has for the craft. For a fourth single, “Get Up” is a strong start to something I will watch.
