Mick J. Clark is back with a new single, “Anuther Sunny Hulliday” and it is an easy listen that fits these summer days perfectly. There is a simple idea behind the song too, following the excitement of going on holiday, enjoying the heat, the pool and the fun, before having to head home again. I like that it doesn’t try to make the idea bigger than it needs to be.
The track has good production and the mixing is excellent, with the instruments sitting nicely together without getting in the way of the song. I loved the melodies and lyrics, but the hook really got me. It is the kind of part that stays in your head after the song has finished. There is also a fun little touch at the end with the sound of the plane taking you home, which fits the story nicely.
