I just discovered the talented Janalynn Castelino and I’m really glad I did because her new single “Can’t Deny” grabbed all of my attention right away. This was my first time hearing her music and it left me excited to hear more of what she has been working on.
The song tells the story of getting caught up in strong emotions that are impossible to ignore and the bilingual lyrics (English & Spanish) give it an extra spark without taking away from its catchy pop direction. The chorus is amazing and will get stuck in your head after one listen. It’s an amazing hook with a nice pop melody and great balance of energy.
Janalynn brings a lively performance that matches the production perfectly and that combination keeps the track moving from start to end. I really enjoyed the pop melodies which fit the song really well. The beats hit with confidence, the sound design is impressive and the atmosphere pulls everything together. On top of that, the mixing and production are clean, balanced and give every part of the song room to breathe.
After listening to her music, it’s easy to say Janalynn is a talented artist with real passion for what she does. The quality of her work shows in every part of this release and the whole song carries a lively spirit that made me want to play it again. I’m happy I found her music and I honestly can’t wait to hear what she releases next.
