Arbor Rose just landed on my radar recently and I’m happy she did. I have to mention the production and mixing here because both are done with real care. Everything sounds balanced and high quality while the songwriting ties the whole piece together in a way that never loses its direction. Nothing here tries to grab your attention with tricks. She simply trusts her voice and that choice pays off.
Arbor Rose is a talented songwriter and her voice is a piece of art. I enjoyed every second of this release and it’s one of those songs I’ll happily play again. I’m already looking forward to hearing what she releases next because she has all the qualities of an artist worth following and I honestly think she’s someone many more people will discover soon.
