Listening to this track became a bit of a loop for me. I kept replaying it over and over because I wanted to enjoy the atmosphere again and again, and every listen pulled me back for one more round. That doesn’t happen often, so it caught my attention right away. “River” is my first introduction to Radical Man and I already know this won’t be my last time writing about his music. I really like his style. The way he builds the atmosphere and lets the melodies grow without rushing anything kept me interested from start to end. It’s his first release with vocals and they fit the direction of the track perfectly.
The track carries that free spirit while still sounding carefully put together and that balance gives it its unique character. More than anything, this sounds like music made by someone who truly cares about what he’s creating. Every part has a purposee and I enjoyed every second of this new single. Radical Man is exactly the kind of artist I like to write about because his music is made with real passion. After finishing this review, I’m already planning to go back and explore his previous release and there’s a good chance I’ll be sharing it here too. I’m excited to follow his journey for a long time.
