Sometimes you just want something easy and catchy to play in the evening and that’s exactly why I ended up spending time with “Boom Boom” by The Breakman Holiday Singers. It has that kind of upbeat sound that puts you in a good mood in seconds. The chorus is catchy and the melodies kept bringing me back for another listen.
I really enjoyed the artist’s voice. It fits this style so well and together with the lyrics and melodies it gives the song plenty to remember. The production and mixing are excellent and the instrumentation keeps everything moving with one enjoyable moment after another. The song is rich, yes, but not crowded and every part has its place.
The song celebrates Independence Day with a positive message about bringing people together and I liked that it focused on shared moments. The songwriter and producer Teddy Breakman is donating all of his artist proceeds from this release to Homes For Our Troops which gives the project extra meaning beyond the music.
I honestly loved the sound, the energy and the melodies of the track. Teddy’s production and songwriting deserve a lot of credit and the Breakman Holiday Singers deliver a performance that kept you interested until the end. I’ll definitely keep an eye on this artist because this is exactly the kind of voice I’m always hoping to discover. Songs like this remind me that sometimes all you need is a catchy tune, good songwriting and enough heart to make you want to press play again.
