I just discovered AM Shanley and his new single “SHY” and I enjoyed playing it on repeat all morning today. Once you hit play, you will understand why this song stayed with me. I really like how everything comes together in a way that makes it easy to enjoy. AM Shanley brings a relaxed style that fits the song perfectly. His performance keeps your attention and the catchy lyrics and melodies will get stuck in your head after your first listen.
The bass and guitars are amazing with solid drums that keep everything moving. The sound design is impressive and every instrument has its place in the mix. The song touches on themes of love and addiction. That kept me interested. It’s also clear that a lot of care went into making this recording and the result is warm and easy to listen to.
This was my first time hearing AM Shanley and it definitely won’t be the last. There is a level of professionalism here that is hard to ignore. The energy is great and made the whole listening experience enjoyable. I’m looking forward to hearing more from this artist because if this is the direction he’s taking, I think there are more great songs still to come.
