CATSINGTON are back with a new single “to another town” and it’s honestly an amazing listen. They’ve built a style that’s easy to enjoy while still sounding different from a lot of bands making music today and this song is another good example of that. It opens with a sound that pulls you in a few seconds.
I always like how they put their songs together. The production and mixing are excellent. They give every part enough space without making anything too busy. The sound desing is impressive and the quality of their music keeps getting more interesting with every release. I also enjoyed the lyrics and melodies which work well together and help create an atmosphere that stayed with me after the song ended. The story behind the track adds something special. Using baseball as a way to talk about friendship, growing older and people drifting apart is an idea that fits the song really well. They lets the message come across in a simple way.
The nice energy of the track kept me listening and I really liked the overall sound and tone. The vocals are catchy and both voices work well together with a smooth delivery that fits the music perfectly. It’s clear this is a professional band that knows how to write songs people can keep coming back to. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on CATSINGTON. They’ve created another catchy release and I’m already looking forward to hearing where they go next.
