If you’re looking for a full rock experience, you’ve come to the right place with “The Conviction”, the new five-track EP from The Buddyrevelles. I had a great time sitting with this release and every song reminded me why I’ve enjoyed covering this band over the last two years. They have built a sound that is easy to recognize and this EP keeps that going from start to finish.
Their music is like a series of releases that complement each other. After a 15-year pause, they returned in 2024 with The Consolation, followed by The Concession in 2025 and now “The Conviction” in 2026. The release is polished and everything works together in a great way. The guitars bring plenty of life to each track, the drums keep everything moving and the vocals are strong and catchy. The lyrics stay with you while the melodies make these songs easy to come back to long after the EP ends. There is a solid atmosphere across all 5 tracks that kept me interested the whole way through.
They’re professional and have so much passion for their art. They always leave me impressed by the skill and experience they bring into their music. Their sound is polished, professional and confident without losing its character. This EP is the final part of this series and it is a satisfying chapter after a journey that took shape over a few years.
The energy of this record is enjoyable and the melodies stick with you for all the right reasons. You can tell this band still has real passion and a clear goal of being seen and heard. After spending time with this EP, I’m happy to say they delivered another release I’ll gladly revisit and I honestly believe they’re on the right road with where they’re heading next.
