Good evening everyone! I always have a lot of respect for artists who keep giving their fans something new throughout the year and that’s one of the reasons I always enjoy covering Messy Eater. Every release adds another piece to the bigger picture. He isn’t just putting out singles and EPs one after another. He’s shaping his own sound and with every project it becomes clearer where he’s heading.
“Comfort Food” is just another strong step in that journey. You can hear the work he’s putting into his music and it pays off across the whole EP. The energy never drops for long, the choruses stay in your head and the melodies kept pulling me back for another listen. I also liked how each track brings something a little different without losing the overall sound that ties everything together. The instrumentals are carefully put together, the production is professional and everything fits perfectly.
The lyrics touch on everyday moments and thoughts that are easy to connect with. If you asked me to pick one favorite, I’d probably say “Vibe Killer”. It wasn’t an easy choice because I enjoyed the whole EP, but I kept going back to that track. The vocal tone fits the song perfectly and it stayed with me long after it ended.
Messy Eater is building something worth following. Every release shows another step forward and that’s exciting to watch. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on whatever comes next because this journey keeps getting better.
