YACOVELLI is back on our radar with their new single “Since Emilia” and I honestly think this could become your favorite after one listen. It wastes no time showing what this band does best, bringing together strong songwriting, big guitars and the kind of energy that keeps the song moving until the last note.
The guitars and drums hit with real force and give every section its own spark without taking attention away from the rest of the band. The instrumentation has so much character and everything works together in a way that lets the vocals sit exactly where they should. These musicians know how to build a song that sounds complete and unique. Alex has an amazing voice and his delivery is strong and memorable. His voice has depth, the vocal melodies stay with you and the lyrics are easy to remember long after the song ends. There’s also a little mystery in the writing, leaving room to think about the meaning instead of spelling everything out. That made me want another listen.
The overall sound is full and carries so much energy while the band’s experience shows through every section. I really like how every instrument has its place and the performance proves how skilled YACOVELLI has become. This was an easy song to enjoy from beginning to end.
