I just discovered Light Bird and her new album “See Her” and it’s one of those albums I kept playing without getting tired of it. Right away, I wanted to hear where each song would go next and by the time it ended, I knew I’d be coming back again. Every song gave me something to enjoy. I loved listening to her voice because it’s catchy and easy to connect with and her songwriting kept my attention from beginning to end. The lyrics come from a deeply personal place as she looks back on her journey of discovering and accepting who she is and that honesty gives the album real meaning without taking away from the music itself.
The instrumentation is full and fits every track well, while the production sounds professional from start to finish. The vocal mixing is excellent too, helping every word come through clearly. I also liked how the melodies stay with you after the songs are over. It’s well crafted, easy to listen to and built with care.
I really enjoyed Light Bird’s style. She has a great musical direction and her sound matches her lyrical approach in a way that made the whole album enjoyable from start to finish. I honestly loved every song on this album and I’m really glad I found this artist. I’ll happily keep this album in my playlist and I’m already looking forward to hearing what she creates next.
