The Tacet Mode – Not How You Color

I spent the whole evening listening to The Tacet Mode’s new album “Not How You Color” over and over again and I really enjoyed every second of it. It is one of those albums that kept pulling you back for another listen because there was always something new to notice.

I liked the variety of instruments and absolutely loved the melodies throughout the album. There is so much going on here. Every track brings a different idea to the table but the album still sounds connected from beginning to end.

The songwriting carries a lot of emotion and depth, especially when touching on personal growth, self-awareness, and learning from difficult experiences. I also really liked the atmosphere of the music. The Tacet Mode has created a sound that is unique while still carrying hints of classic influences. The guitars and drums were some of my favorite parts of the album and the melodies kept me engaged from track to track. The production is smart, interesting and sounds professional without taking attention away from the songs themselves.

After spending so much time with this release, I can honestly say this is an album I will revisit. The quality of the music, the great writing and the strong musicianship made it an enjoyable listen from start to finish. The Tacet Mode has created something sincere here and I’m looking forward to hearing where this project goes next.
