Hi everyone! One of my absolute favorite independent artists Rusty Reid is back with a new single, “All Through My Days” and I was excited to press play. Rusty’s music has been a daily source of enjoyment for me over the last few months, so I had high hopes for this release and it did not disappoint.
For me, what makes this track so interesting is its honest and catchy songwriting. Originally written by Vince Bell and Connie Mims Pinkerton, the song carries a warm upbeat spirit while still keeping so much character. The lyrics are unique, easy to remember and they stayed with me long after the song ended.
The production and mixing are excellent as always. I really like how everything sits in the right place. The instrumentation adds a lot to the song and gives the chorus extra lift. The music supports Rusty’s vocals perfectly. Speaking of vocals, his voice is one of my favorite things about his music. His delivery is confident and fits the mood of the song from start to finish.
I also enjoyed the melodies and the way the song gradually builds as it moves along. I honestly liked every second of this track and found myself replaying it more than once. Rusty Reid never fails to remind me why I keep coming back to his music. He has a unique voice, a great style and a way of making songs enjoyable every time. This is another strong release from a talented artist whose music is always a treat.
