Messy Eater has been showing up on CTTV a lot lately and there’s a reason for that. Every new release keeps pulling me back in again. “Anything for an easy life” is another one that stayed with me after the first listen because of how easy it is to get into.
The hook is great here. It’s catchy in that simple way where you remember it later without even noticing. You may find yourself replaying the chorus a few hours later. The lyrics are beautifully written and mesh perfectly with the vocal melodies. There’s a laidback mood running through the whole track. It’s like the song is telling you to slow down for a minute and stop making life harder than it needs to be.
I liked the atmosphere a lot. The mix of melodies, vocals and that relaxed rhythm gives the song its own personality. Everything moves smoothly and keeps the track easy to sit with from start to finish.
Messy Eater is honestly one of my favorite artists. I keep writing about his music because I really enjoy it and I don’t think I’m stopping anytime soon. I’m already looking forward to wherever he is releasing next.
