Cries of Redemption have this way of sounding fully locked in without making the song feel cold or robotic. They’re back with a new single and I can’t wait to share it with you. “Torn” starts with a real punch too. The guitars come in fast, the drums keep everything moving and the whole track carries this sharp energy that kept me hooked the first time through.
One thing I honestly respect about Ed Silva is the passion behind this project. You can hear that these songs matter to him. The second thing is the energy. Every release I’ve heard from this band pushes hard without sounding messy. Bringing back Billy Babcock (Sriracha) after all these years made the track even stronger. His guitar work adds a lot to the song and trust me, he may steal your attention from everything else going on, so stay focused.
The female vocals were another big part of why this worked for me. Strong melodies, memorable lines and a delivery that fit the mood of the track really well. I also liked how polished the production sounded. The mix is clean, the drums hit hard and the guitars have enough weight.
I really loved the creativity behind it. This song sounds focused, energetic and made by people who actually care about the music instead of chasing trends. I’ll definitely come back to this one again.
