I love this band. I just discovered them a couple of weeks ago with their new single “Lil’ Busted Fox”. The track opens with great drums and then a steady rhythm that will pull you in a few seconds. The guitars carry most of the weight here and they do it well. The drums stood out to me right away. They don’t just sit in the back. They push the track forward in a way that keeps things moving and interesting.
I really loved the hooks and melodies and found myself humming them a few hours later which doesn’t always happen. The vocals are handled in a catchy way and there’s a bit of character in how everything is layered and presented. The writing style is amazing and fits the tone of the track.
Pay attention and you’ll like how full everything sounds. There’s always something going on in the background. You can tell this band knows what they’re doing. It’s well put together without losing that raw edge. I’ve already played it a few times back to back and I’ll probably keep it going a bit longer. See you with another review.
