This track is so good. “Time” by Italian singer-songwriter and producer iuliano starts simple with a soft electronic loop that pulls you in at first listen. This is a catchy electronic track, but not in a loud way. The sound design is great with small details moving around your ears. The instrumental is impressive and well put together, nothing messy, nothing wasted.
I really liked his vocals and melodies. One clear idea, one hook and it stays. You may find yourself replaying some section just to hear that line again. There’s real care in the production and mixing. Time was spent shaping this, I can tell. The melodies are easy to follow and the whole track carries an emotionally raw edge.
The song is about reflection, like sitting still while things shift around you. It’s not heavy and doesn’t push too much which is good. Iuliano shows skill here, both as a producer and as a writer. I think he is one of my favorite new artists and someone I’ll be keeping an eye on for some time to come.
It might be a simple release, but it carries weight in unique ways. I kept it on repeat during a long drive, watching streetlights pass by and it stayed in my head after the song ended. That’s enough for me right now. I will come back
