50mething – Gaza (on and on and on)

Last time I wrote about 50mething, I said I’d be back, and here we are with a new single. “Gaza (on and on and on)” sets the tone right away with a strong message. This isn’t background music. He’s talking about war and how it keeps repeating, hurting people again and again. That idea is the core of the track and gives it weight.

His voice is always smooth and catchy which makes his music easy to replay. The hook is great and the writing keeps things direct and honest. I like how the melody stays in your head without getting loud or messy. The instrumental is simple but has little touches that keep it interesting. It’s not empty or plain. The whole song moves at a calm pace, but the topic keeps it serious.

There is a warm atmosphere around it and the production helps a lot. The mix is great and everything sits where it should and the final sound is so complete. You can tell care went into shaping this record. This was a good listen and I’m super happy I’m still covering his work on my blog. I’m excited to see how his music grows over the next few years. He is not just making songs for fun, but saying something that matters. That balance is why I keep coming back to his releases and paying attention each time and I think it will go far.
