I’ve recently enjoyed listening to this amazing Italian project, Nineteen Sixty-Two with his new single “Lovable” which was released on September 4. The track is a good experience and really won me over with its sound design. I just discovered his music a couple of weeks ago, so it’s a nice surprise to find a track that has already kept me coming back for another listen. Much here works for me, starting with the clean beats and the way each electronic element sits in the mix.
The track has a strong dance energy without feeling overdone. I really like the vocal lines here. They fit the music well and give the melody something memorable to hold on to. The groove is something I keep enjoying here with every listen, the tones are nice, the melodies are catchy and the arrangement gives the track movement that makes you want to get up and dance.
Nineteen Sixty-Two makes music with passion and that comes through in the care put into the production. The mixing is excellent, with the different sounds kept clean and well balanced. I like how nothing gets lost in the beat and the quality of the production lets the sound design do its job. This is a track made for having fun and enjoying the moment.
“Lovable” is a strong single from an artist who knows his craft and handles this style with confidence. I have had it on repeat since discovering it and I am still enjoying that groove every time it comes around. It’s an easy recommendation from me and I’m happy I found this one.
