Rosie Byron is a new artist for me and her new single, “You & Me” became a song I wanted to hear again and again. I spent the last week coming back to it, and after enjoying it that much, I knew I wanted to review it and share it with the world.
She has a real and beautiful sound. Her voice has a raw and catchy quality that caught my attention from the first few seconds. Her delivery is soft and gives the song a gentle character. I really enjoyed the lyrics and melodies, which work nicely together. The song is about exploring the world with someone you love and that idea comes through in a simple and positive way.
Rosie has a great pop singer-songwriter style, but there is also a personal touch in the way she performs. You can hear that she puts real passion into what she creates. The song has an upbeat side, but it never loses that softer edge that makes her music easy to listen to. I have to mention the production and mixing because both are excellent. The instrumental work sounds good and the overall quality gives the track a clean finish.
I really loved listening to her singing and I can see myself playing it again. Rosie is a talented artist and I’m happy this song brought her music to my attention. This is a lovely introduction to an artist I’ll be keeping an eye on.
