It’s almost 12 a.m and I’m still listening to Oryah’s new single “GOOD! Morning” and honestly, I’m not even sure how to start this review. Maybe that says something about how easily the track pulled me in.
Oryah has a tone that grabbed my attention right away. His delivery is smooth and the hook stays with you, maybe for days. There’s a lot of emotion in the way he delivers his lines which fits the late-night mood of the song. His writing caught me too. The lyrics are real and honest and there are moments where you can tell he’s saying something he actually means.
This song is part of Oryah’s late-night concept album “Dodging Daylight” which deals with getting through pressure, burnout, isolation, and the distractions that can keep your mind running when you should probably be sleeping. That idea comes through here without taking over the song.
The track also features YGTUT, and I liked what he brings to the sound. It gives the song another voice while keeping Oryah’s direction clear. I also have to give credit to the production. The mixing is on point and the mastering gives everything enough room without making the track sound overworked. The production is professional and gives the song so much space.
Oryah is talented, and I can already tell his voice is going to be memorable for me. I enjoyed this one a lot and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on where he goes next. He’s one of those rare artists I’ll be adding to my favorites list.
