Cheers To The Vikings has always been a home for indie bands that put real passion into what they do, and Country Risqué fits right in. Their new single “Motorcycle Johnny” caught me with its classic sound, catchy vibe and happy mood. It’s the kind of song that makes it easy to stay with it and see where the band takes you.
Country Risqué brings an old-school country side to the track, but there’s enough rock in the sound to keep it moving. The song tells the story of a debutante stuck in the rules of high society who finds her freedom at a local honky-tonk, and I liked that idea.
