This soundtrack gave me a nostalgic vibe, taking me back to some of the music I used to listen to many years ago, and I loved that experience. Dan Webb‘s new release “Things Rise And Fall” featuring Logan Kane, has that rare quality where you can listen and suddenly your mind is somewhere else.
This is one good way to tell if a producer knows what he is doing. When the music can take you into another world or bring back old memories, then there is something special happening behind the scenes. The sound design is polished. There is a nice energy moving in this track with great elements and textures that sit together so well. Logan Kane’s bass adds a strong presence and the drums and other sounds give the track enough to follow and enjoy. The mixing is professional and everything has its place.
You can hear the care behind this track. It sounds like Dan Webb paid close attention to every little part. I’d love to hear more from him for sure, so I’m adding him to my fv list. This was a really good trip back through a sound I had almost forgotten.
