I just discovered this amazing artist and his new track and I’m really happy to share it because he is a great surprise. Michael Grandel caught my attention with this amazing track “Eta Carinae”. After spending time with it, I can easily say it’s one of those tracks that deserves to be played loud.
Built around house and techno energy, the song moves forward with thick driving drums, clean beats and a deep long-tailed kick that gives every section extra weight. The original vocals fits perfectly into the sound and stayed in my head for a few minutes after the music stopped. I also enjoyed the synth work which brings a rave touch without taking over the whole mix.
The sound design is impressive and every texture and small element has its place. The production quality is excellent, making everything clear while keeping the energy high from start to end. There is also an emotional side behind the song, inspired by the star system Eta Carinae, but it never gets in the way of the music. The emotional side in the vocals adds another layer to an already enjoyable listen.
This is the kind of track I would happily play in the car or on loud speakers where every beat has room to breathe. I liked the vibe, the tune and the overall quality and I honestly hope this is only the beginning of my journey with Michael Grandel. I’ll definitely be looking forward to hearing what this amazing artist releases next.
