Moons Poet – Underground Potato

Good evening! I had the best experience with “Underground Potato” and I honestly loved every second I spent with this album. Moons Poet created something that kept pulling me deeper with every track. It felt like stepping into another world where every song had its own place but everything stayed connected from start to end.

The album’s atmosphere has a haunting edge that stayed with me long after I finished listening. I really enjoyed the way Carly O’Dwyer builds her songs here without making them sound forced. Her music, lyrics and haunting delivery all work together in a way that makes this record easy to get lost in. The production is creative, full of interesting ideas and gives the album its unique identity. The record touches on subjects like mental health, love, healing and the world around us. Those themes are there, but they never take away from the music. In my opinion, one of the best tracks here is “Firehorse”. It carries a message of courage and moving forward after difficult moments while still leaving room for listeners to find their own meaning.

I finished this album wanting to play it again and that’s always a good sign. I loved Moons Poet’s sound from start to end and I think this release is one of those albums that deserves more attention than it’s likely to get. I’m really happy I found this artist and I’ll be looking forward to hearing where she goes next.
