Robbie Mangiardi is an artist I just discovered and I ended up loving his new single “Wayward Wind” much more than I expected. I could already tell this song was going to stay on constant repeat after hearing those opening guitars and the rhythm kick in. It grabbed my attention right away and never really let go.
There is something easy to enjoy about the way Robbie writes songs. His voice carries every line with confidence and his vocal delivery sounds polished and professional. The melodies are catchy and the songwriting keeps everything moving. I found myself singing parts of it without even noticing. That is always a good sign. The production and mixing are great and everything sits together so well. The lyrics touch on finding a better direction during difficult times and I liked that Robbie shared the idea without making it complicated or forcing it on the listener.
This is one of those songs I can easily see myself coming back to whenever it comes up in a playlist. I honestly loved listening to it from start to end and for me it checks every box. Great songwriting, memorable melodies, a strong vocal performance and careful production make this a perfect song. Robbie Mangiardi has definitely earned a new follower in me.
