Mark Moule is back again with a new single, and to be honest this artist is starting to get all of my attention. Every time I hear a new release from him, I notice something that keeps me coming back. His music has been growing on me and his new title “Eyes of Izzy” is another reason why.

This song tells the story of Izzy Orlof, the man who introduced the camera to Western Australia, but trust me, it’s not like a history lesson. It has a personal side that keeps everything interesting and that makes the story easy to follow. I really like Mark’s voice and the quality of his music, but the biggest thing for me is still his writing. His songwriting keeps getting better and the lyrics have a way of holding my attention. The melodies stay with you and they work well with the rest of the arrangement.

The production is professional, the mixing is excellent and the instrumentation gives the song a solid base without taking attention away from the vocals. Mark has a catchy voice that is easy to listen to and it fits this style perfectly. I honestly enjoyed this release from beginning to end. The lyrics, melodies and overall quality all come together in a way that reminds me why I keep looking forward to hearing what Mark does next. If he keeps writing songs like this, I’ll happily keep pressing play every time a new one arrives.
