I loved Deportee’s voice and style the moment the song started. That first impression stayed with me all the way through his new single “Black Woman Are Not Cheap“ and it gave me a good reason to keep listening. The track moves with a smooth flow while carrying a clear message about respecting and celebrating Black women.
The lyrics are thoughtful and easy to follow. The production is professional and polished and everything sounds like it was put together with real care. The mixing and mastering are excellent and make every part of the song sit where it should. The instrumental fits Deportee’s voice and flow perfectly, so nothing sounds out of place. I also enjoyed the hook because it stayed with me after the song ended and the verses kept things moving. He delivers each line with confidence and his voice is one of the biggest reasons I wanted to hear the song again. His style is unique and his music is well crafted and easy to listen to from beginning to end.
After spending time with this release, I came away impressed by both the message and the quality behind it. It’s always nice finding an artist who brings good writing together with solid production and Deportee does exactly that here. This is someone I’ll definitely keep an eye on because I’m interested to hear where his music goes next.
