I just discovered this amazing new EP called “Neon Lights”. Brazilian artist Krey Galin caught my attention with the quality of this project. I played it first on my home speakers in the morning. Then again later while driving. Well, both times it worked well but the setup really matters here. This is the kind of project that opens up more when the sound system is strong enough to catch the small details.
The vocals are catchy and attractive and they stay in your mind. There are also featured artists across the EP and they fit well into the direction of the project. The production has an interesting edge and the sound design across the five tracks is carefully built. The dance vibes are amazing and the pop melodies are catchy. Believe me, nothing sounds rushed in how the music is put together.
The sound is polished and the energy stays steady through the whole release. Each track feels like it has its own space but still connects to the overall project in a great way. I really enjoyed listening to this EP. The beats, layers and small details all work together in a solid way. I would love to hear more from Krey Galin.
