Can’t wait for you all to listen to this one. The first thing that grabbed me about “As Soon As Tomorrow” was the guitar work. It has that easy pop-rock sound that pulls you in fast. The Adel Gomez Band keeps things catchy from the start and the chorus stayed in my head long after the song ended. I played it again almost right away while walking around my room which honestly says a lot for me. I think this is one of the best releases I’ve heard so far this year.
I’ll be honest here. I also liked how clean and well put together the track sounds. The production is professional, but the song still keeps its heart. Adel Gomez has a gentle voice that works really well with this style of music, especially during the more honest lines about taking risks and going after something even when you are unsure about it. That message is strong and meaningful.
The mix of pop melodies and guitar-driven energy reminded me a little of older rock songs, but it still sounds fresh and unique. It’s a solid and enjoyable listen all the way through. This is definitely an artist I’m adding to my favorites list. I already know I’ll be checking out the next releases from this EP and writing about this artist and his band again soon.
