Chaidura – Plastic Beauty

If you’re looking for something loud and strong, then take a seat, you’re in the right place. Chaidura is back with “Plastic Beauty” and I’ve been waiting on this one more than I thought.

The track kicks in fast. Guitars hit hard, drums don’t hold back and the bass keeps everything tight underneath. It leans deep into metal, no question. The vocals come in loud and sharp, pushing everything forward without getting lost in the noise. That balance is important here.

There are points where things pull back a bit and the softer vocal lines show up. Those parts stayed with me more than I expected. The melodies are easy to remember, even after one listen, and they don’t get buried when the track goes heavy again.

The idea behind the song is clear. It pushes against fake beauty and that pressure to change yourself just to be accepted. You can hear that frustration in the way the chorus is delivered. The production is clean but still hits hard. I like how nothing sounds messy even when a lot is going on.

I really love how direct this band is. No tricks, no hiding behind layers. Just strong music that says what it wants. I enjoyed this a lot and I’ll probably come back to it again when the kids are asleep.
