I’ve heard a lot of great music this year, but this release is on another level. The Theos Variant returns with a bold and emotionally stirring new single, “Beacons”. This track pulls you in right from the first note with haunting vocal melodies and instrumentation that feels both rich and alive. Dan Lentz’s voice soars with purpose and is matched perfectly by thunderous drums and guitar lines that hit hard without losing their atmosphere. The song captures a deep sense of resilience, like a lighthouse in a storm and delivers a message of holding on and lighting the way for others.
The production is polished and full of character with textures that feel cinematic without overcomplicating the sound. The rhythm section is impressive here and offers drive and heart all at once. I found myself coming back to this track again and again. It’s powerful and crafted with care. “Beacons” is a shining example of modern rock done right. All I can say is, go listen, you’ll understand why I’m so excited about this track.
