Moonroof – Moonroof

Philadelphia’s Moonroof delivers a bold and deeply personal debut with their self-titled album, “Moonroof”. This 13-track release blends high-energy pop-punk with thoughtful and emotional songwriting in a way that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The band has spent years shaping their sound, and it really shows. This album feels tight, confident and full of personality. Tracks like “Again” and “Over It” hit hard with dynamic arrangements and emotionally charged vocals, while songs like “Can’t Say No” and “Forget Someone” show honest feelings in a powerful way.

The production is clean but not overdone, allowing each instrument to breathe and shine. There’s a great balance between upbeat rhythms and reflective moments and the whole project feels like it came straight from the heart. For me, this album is easily one of my favorite releases this year. I’ve reviewed Moonroof before and I’m genuinely glad I got to do it again, they just keep getting better.
