Jasmine Sankaran brings a refreshing fusion of indie rock and dreamy pop, creating something that feels both nostalgic and brand new. Her voice is impossible to forget, it’s full of texture, charm and vulnerability, and it stays with you long after the music stops. The melodies throughout the album are truly captivating and the instrumentals are crafted with care, lifting each lyric into its own spotlight.
Two tracks I couldn’t stop replaying are “You Only Love Me When” and “Double Lives”. They perfectly showcase her ability to balance honesty, emotion and style. This album feels personal yet universal and her artistic voice shines through every note. I really love this artist’s voice and can’t get her melodies out of my head. Jangus Kangus is original, memorable and definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
