The Norwegian artist Rebecca Helena just released her first single titled, “Ice Queen”, it’s a song with real passion and amazing atmosphere, it’s inspired by the Scandinavian culture which make it wonderful and very special. Beautiful or good is not enough to describe the aesthetic of this record. Rebecca’s voice is pure, warm and charming and her performance is very professional. The lyrics are catchy and very original, and the melodies are unique and enjoyable. We really can see and feel how Rebecca loves music that she is making, and we are happy that she showed up on our radar.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Rebecca Helena is a Singer/Songwriter based in Berlin, originally from a small village in Norway, Tønsberg. She started writing songs at the age of 12 when she received her first guitar for her birthday. Since then, writing music (especially pop!) has been a big part of her life. After finishing High School she went to Seljord Folkehøyskole in Norway to learn more about Songwriting and to connect with other creatives. In 2016 she decided to move to Berlin to study at the Briths & Irish Moderne Music Institute (BIMM Berlin). Next to her studies, she had several internships in the music industry to learn more about the field she was heading towards. Rebecca Helena is known for her melodic hooks and clever lyrics. She is a „thinker“ and she spends a lot of time reflecting on life, the ups, the downs, love, happiness, and challenges. All this comes through in her writing.
