There is something about Reetoxa that I don’t find in many indie artists. Every new release comes with so much passion that leaves a smile on my face and after each song I end up liking his work even more. Now he’s back with “Bottle” and I can honestly say it’s another amazing release.
The song finds a great balance between rock and melody without making things complicated. The hook will get stuck in your head and everything around it fits together so well. The guitars are strong, the drums keep the track moving and the bass holds everything together. Jason gives another solid performance. His voice has that familiar tone I’ve enjoyed across his releases. His rich tone makes the song easy to sit with from start to end. The melodies stayed with me after my first listen and the lyrics carry the story of teenage struggles, friendship and trying to escape difficult moments without making it sound dramatic.
I loved the energy running through the whole track. It never slows down but it never loses control either. It reminds me why I keep coming back whenever Reetoxa releases something new. I honestly think this song deserves a place on many summer playlists. It’s catchy, well played and full of the kind of passion that keeps me excited to hear whatever he decides to release next. That’s the best compliment I can give this song.
