Jordan, the artist behind Orisha Lux, is not playing games here. He makes music with real passion and you can hear it in every element and every texture across the album. Nothing sounds thrown together. The instrumentals are carefully built and that care shows from one track to the next. I spent a lot of time paying attention to the production and it kept pulling me back for another listen.
The album moves through different moods without losing its identity. Whether it’s the drive of tracks like “Voltage” and “Pulsar” or the change of pace on “Eclipse” with Brother Jacob, everything connects well.
